Deep vein thrombosis, or DVT, is a dangerous medical condition caused by a clot that forms in the deep veins of the body. It is most common in the legs and can be life-threatening if it spreads to areas such as the lungs.

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is a circulatory condition in which plaque made up of cholesterol and other fatty substances builds up in your arteries, reducing the amount of oxygen-rich blood flowing to your limbs. They occur when the walls of the vessels lack internal elasticity, allowing them to overexpand and strain until they burst, causing bleeding outside and within tissues. Vascular malformations often require multimodal treatment with surgical intervention.
